Sports Concussion Training Now Available
Sports concussion training is now available for youths of all ages through high school, including youths, teammates, coaches, trainers, teachers, nurses and parents. Cranestorm Continues to Take Flight
The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota invites you to join in the movement of Cranestorm. Volunteers from all over are helping to fold 100,000 origami cranes which will be a visual representation of each Minnesotan affected by brain injury. Please join us in the next phase of the project which is stringing them for installation!

Open House Dates:

  • Thursday, January 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Accessible Housing in Coon Rapids
Mary T Inc. has current openings in our CC Parkview Lodging program located in Coon Rapids. These four-bedroom, barrier-free townhomes are located on a commuter bus line to downtown Minneapolis. The $500 a month rent includes the following amenities:

  • Heat, electricity, water, sewer, trash, central air
  • Three meals plus snacks will be provided each day
  • Washer/Dryer
  • Basic cable and high speed internet in each bedroom
  • Fully furnished common areas and kitchen.
  • Maintenance of grounds including snow shoveling and lawn care

Staff are available to assist with general housekeeping of the home on a daily basis, assistance with cooking, grocery shopping, setting up medical appointments, money management, coordination of transportation, socialization and other daily living skill needs specific to each individual. Additional services include weekly support and case management from an RN. This home is staffed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with no overnight staff. An emergency call system is available. Children Reaching Academic Milestones Conference
C.R.A.M. Conference is for parents of children with recent or past mild to moderate brain injuries who are in grades K-12 (public and private) and the professionals who work with students in Minnesota.

Classified Ad Opportunities
We are pleased to provide an online opportunity for organizations to broadcast their message about job openings, services and more through affordable, convenient advertising. This bi-weekly electronic publication is sent to more than 5,500 professionals, paraprofessionals and persons with brain injury and their families.

The cost to run a classified ad of up to 250 words is $20 for one edition or $30 for two editions. Ads must be submitted in electronic form to receive this rate. Ads submitted in hard copy will be charged an additional $15 administrative fee.
