Wednesday Workshops
The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is proud to present Wednesday Workshops, a series of classes held once a month, discussing a different brain injury topic each month. Wednesday Workshops will be held at the Association office in Minneapolis from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The cost to attend one of the workshops is $40 per person. 2.5 CEU's are provided.

Self-regulation after Traumatic Brain Injury: Self-monitored and Self-control

Regulating our attention, learning, communication and behavior is critical in order to adapt to the demands of everyday living. This presentation will provide a working knowledge of how TBI affects self-monitoring and control and which instructional techniques make these processes explicit when training individuals to use strategies.

Pediatric Brain Injury

Many of the adults that are served in various settings (e.g. residential, mental health, chemical dependency, corrections) sustained brain injuries as children. Sustaining a brain injury as a child has a unique set of issues and impacts life long development.
