Advocacy Matters!
Your voice, your story, your chance to make a difference in the lives of people affected by brain injury. By being involved through advocacy you can help us educate state policymakers about the impact of brain injury on individuals and families.

Join with Citizen Advocates as we prepare for the 2012 legislative session. Learn about the public policy priorities of the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota and how you can make a difference in the policy decisions being made at the State Capitol. We need to work together to preserve essential services and supports for individuals and families affected by brain injury.

Cranes Migrating-Brain Injury Association of Nebraska embarks on their own Cranestorm project
For those of you who participated in Cranestorm-Wishes In Flight and folded 100,000 cranes, one for each Minnesotan living with a disability due to brain injury, your work has taken flight and spread to other Brain Injury Associations across America. One of these is the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska. Inspired by your work they are working to fold 36,000 cranes. E-mail Kate a note of support and encouragement as they fold towards their February deadline.

Case Management Position Opening at the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota
Primary Duties:
The Case Manager is responsible for monitoring and implementing comprehensive proactive; consumer directed systems of support and advocacy for individuals, including all ages and cultures, which have survived brain injury and their families through implementation of case management for effective community integration. The Case Manager will be responsible to assist the consumer in planning and accessing housing, financial supports and other community services and supports needed to accomplish this goal in accordance with Local; State; and Federal regulations. Bi-lingual/bi-cultural is a plus.

Classified Ad Opportunities
