27th Annual Conference for Professionals in Brain Injury
The Annual Conference will feature several dynamic speakers who will cover a variety of topics related to community-based, education, cultural and medical aspects of brain injury care, services and supports.

Join professionals, caregivers, advocates and providers from around the state on Thursday and Friday, March 29 and 30 at the Northland Inn in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Erwin Concepcion, Ph.D., LP, and Steve Benvenisti, Esq., will deliver the Thursday and Friday morning keynote address. Kris G. Munsch will be presenting at the close of the 27th Annual Conference.

Advocacy Matters!
Join fellow Minnesotans at the Capitol every Tuesday during the legislative session beginning February 14. By being involved through advocacy you can help us educate state policymakers about the impact of brain injury on individuals and families.

Take the Pledge
To "Keep My Brain in the Game"
Are you the parent of a youth athlete? How can you participate in Keep My Brain In the Game? Talk with your kid about concussion, let them know by taking the pledge they are a leader on their team and let them know they can share why playing safe and playing hard is important to them on our Facebook page or by making a short YouTube video.

Start the journey at SaveThisBrain.org to take the pledge that "If I am hurt, I will sit it out until a medical professional tells me I am ok."

Case Management Position Opening at the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota
Primary Duties:
The Case Manager is responsible for monitoring and implementing comprehensive proactive; consumer directed systems of support and advocacy for individuals, including all ages and cultures, which have survived brain injury and their families through implementation of case management for effective community integration. The Case Manager will be responsible to assist the consumer in planning and accessing housing, financial supports and other community services and supports needed to accomplish this goal in accordance with Local; State; and Federal regulations. Bi-lingual/bi-cultural is a plus.

Resource Facilitation Position Opening at the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota
Primary Duties:
The Resource Facilitator is responsible for brain injury information, resources and individual assistance through the implementation of Resource Facilitation providing effective community integration of people with brain injury. Bi-lingual/bi-cultural is a plus.

Mayo Clinic's 19th Annual Brain Injury Conference
The 2012 Brain Injury Conference will feature a variety of dynamic keynote speakers who will discuss topics including sports concussions, care of the traumatic brain injury patient in the acute setting, yoga and brain injury treatment, and a personal story of survival and success after brain injury.
