Tuesdays at the Capitol
Advocate at the State Capitol! Every Tuesday through the end of the 2015 legislative session, the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance Public Policy staff meets with citizen advocates in the Department of Transportation cafeteria at 10 a.m. We provide a policy update, help write personal stories and facilitate meetings with legislators.

Brain Injury Educational Classes
The Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance offers a variety of educational classes - including our monthly Brain Injury Basics class - for families, individuals and professionals in the Twin Cities. Our educators can also train your staff on-site at your facility with our Traveling Workshops.

Brain Injury Basics
Caregiving: February 26, 2015

Registration is required for all classes. Brain Injury Basics takes place in the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance offices in Roseville from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $25 for professionals; a $5 donation is appreciated from consumers.

Speakers Bureau Training - Share Your TBI or Stroke Story with Others
The Speakers Bureau will be hosting a training on Saturday, February 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at our Roseville Office. Anyone is welcome to come and learn more about the Speakers Bureau, what it is and how it works. Learn how to refine and present your personal story in a way that will attract attention and provide education to your audience. The training is free but registration is required. Classified Ad - REM Ramsey, Inc.
REM Ramsey, Inc. is currently accepting referrals for their residential transition service program in Maplewood, MN. This program offers a unique transitional service to help participants gain skills to support future semi-independent or independent living. We foster individualized opportunities for skill-building through community interaction and engagement in social, productive, and recreational endeavors. Participants complete the program in anywhere from 6 to 24 months, depending on their progress and needs. We're seeking individuals who are medically stable and have potential for learning skills or compensatory strategies for more independent living in their future. This program is ideal for individuals who are highly motivated, positive and dedicated to living independently in the near future. This unique program offers a desirable cost-effective alternative to long term residence in group, nursing and/or host home/adult foster care. Classified Ad Opportunities
We are pleased to provide an online opportunity for organizations to broadcast their message about job openings, services and more through affordable, convenient advertising. This bi-weekly electronic publication is sent to more than 6,250 professionals, paraprofessionals and persons with brain injury and their families.

The cost to run a classified ad of up to 250 words is $20 for one edition or $30 for two editions. Ads must be submitted in electronic form to receive this rate. Ads submitted in hard copy will be charged an additional $15 administrative fee.
